Premier Exhibition in Medford
An announcement about a new gallery in downtown Medford via Sand T. of artSPACE @ 16:
Pigmentia Studio and Gallery, a newly opened gallery in downtown Medford is presenting its premier exhibition entitled The Green Show. Nineteen artists were selected by gallery owner Lisa Tang Liu to participate in this show. Artwork on display includes paintings, drawings, photographs, and mixed media work - all of which depict the essence of the color green. While green often symbolizes natural life and the arrival of spring, it can also represent a magical atmosphere and state of mind, an escape from our “sidewalk society” to a natural Eden where we encounter the peace of our dreams and overcome the fears of our past. Among the artists participating in the show are: Adele Travisano (Medford), Jim Fesler (Lexington), Christina Richards (New York), Iris Osterman (Lincoln), Michael Seif (Watertown), Fran Forman (Watertown) , Patricia Saunders (Medford), Soh H. Tan Kalloch (Malden), Nadine Boughton (Medford), Joan McCandlish (Medford), John Schneider (Somerville), Jim Jackson (Cambridge), M. Steve McCauley (Malden), Tim Barner (Medford), Tamara Major (Medford), Carolyn Dinsmoor (Medford), Amy McGregor-Radin (Newton), Jonathan Donahue (Medford), and Lisa Tang Liu (Medford). The public is cordially invited to the opening reception on Friday, March 3, 2006 from 6 to 9pm. Pigmentia Studio & Gallery is located at 13 Forest St, Medford, MA 02155.
