Donations to the Red Cross for Katrina Victims.

I haven't been able to get onto the Red Cross' web site for two days, so I'm hoping that it's overflowing with people trying to contribute. If you are having the same problem, you can donate to the Red Cross through Amazon.com. They also did this during the tsunami relief campaign. Please follow this link to donate through Amazon.com

There are also lots of other organizations soliciting donations for Katrina victims. The NY Times has set up a page of links to those organizations (including the actual Red Cross site) here. They also provide phone numbers for everyone which is great if you prefer to donate via phone. Sometimes it's hard to find an actual phone number for these places.
