The madness must be stopped!!!

The dreaded "EaBo" virus is spreading. I wonder if this is an effort to trick unsuspecting yuppies into thinking that they are moving to a new, previously undiscovered neighborhood of Boston. By the way Salem Group Properties, Eastie has 4 major areas: Jeffries' Point, Orient Heights, Eagle Hill and The Flats. We find, however, that the linked article by Frank Conte is a little bit out of date because, in fact, the Flats are also starting to be gentrified as you can see here.

The blog accepted my kind comments, though I'm sure they won't get to stay.

The Flats are an interesting place - during our recent apartment search we learned a lot about the area, especially around the former Wood Island Park!

Thanks for the Flats article link. I'd seen the Flats plaque on one of the bench overhangs at Piers Park, and thought they were referring to the new lofts, when in fact, the neighborhood actually exists!
